Political life
The municipality is the public authority that is closest to the citizens. This authority is in charge of everything that affects the municipal interests. Every six years, a voting is organized to elect municipal counsellors. The number of counsellors is depending on the amount of inhabitants of the municipality (today 33 for Woluwe-St-Pierre). The elected counsellors form the municipal Council, of which most reunions are open to the public.
