- Annually you render a medical certificate stipulating that you are unable to move around on your own or by public transport.
Description
Please contact us on 0498/588.022 – 02/773.07.45. The responsible will verify if you meet the conditions to make use of the WoluBus. If the conditions are met, the user is automatically subscribed for the service, he will be requested to buy a transport card.
Price
The price of the cards (and therefore the tokens) depends on each person’s income and will be determined at the time of registration.
The standard travel card includes 10 tokens and costs 40 euros.
A return journey within the municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre will cost 2 stamps (€4 each way) and a return journey to neighbouring municipalities (Etterbeek, Auderghem, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Kraainem, Wezembeek-Oppem) will cost 4 stamps (€8 each way).
There is also a social fare card costing 20 euros for 10 tickets.
The social fare applies to single people with a net income of less than 1,800 euros per month or couples with a net income of less than 2,300 euros per month. In this case, a journey to Woluwe-Saint-Pierre will cost 2 stamps (€2 each way). To neighbouring municipalities, a journey will cost 4 stamps (€4 each way).
The card can be purchased:
- Either in cash, from the Social Services Department, WoluBus service (on the ground floor of 93 Avenue Charles Thielemans),
- Or by bank transfer to the non-profit organisation Soleil des Toujours Jeunes (BE02 3101 5925 9740; reference: Surname + First name + WoluBus Card).
You can purchase several cards at once. This card remains valid for the entire duration of your registration.
Reservation
Reservation by the user is required at least 2 working days beforehand. A reservation needs to specify the address of the user, the itinerary, possible stops and an estimation of the time use.
Reservations can be made by calling: 0498/588.022 – 02/773.07.45 (from Monday till Friday: between 9AM and 4PM), or by sending an e-mail : wolubus@woluwe1150.be
In case of unforeseen events, the Social Affairs Service should be informed about the cancellation at least 2 hours before the planned use of WoluBus.
If the user is not informing the service in time, the driver will pass by and count journeys.
In case the user desires to be accompanied by one he chooses, he should inform the service beforehand.
Day of transport
The user needs to prepare himself in time and wait for the bus to arrive at the meeting point.
The user possessing a special parking card can also use this for the WoluBus (e.g. parking card disabled)
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, please notify the WoluBus service as soon as possible and in any case at least two hours before the scheduled journey. If you forget to cancel your journey and the driver arrives at your home, two journey credits will be deducted from your card.
