At its meeting on 22 January 2026, the College of Mayor and Aldermen decided to lift the suspension of registrations in the register of applicants for municipal housing ONLY for applicants who meet the conditions for access to medium-income housing, until further notice.
The minimum and maximum incomes listed below must be met in order to be eligible for medium-income housing:
Minimum income:
€28,379.07 for a single person;
€31,532.33 for a single-income household;
€36,037.00 for a household with multiple incomes;
+ €2,702.77 for each dependent child (a dependent child recognised as disabled = 2 dependent children);
+ €5,405.52 for an adult recognised as disabled.
Maximum income:
€79,218.33 for a person living alone;
+ €6,989.91 for the first dependent;
+ €3,697.31 for each additional dependent;
Only half of the total taxable income of the spouse or cohabitant with the lowest total taxable income is taken into account.
Within the municipality, it’s the Legal Service that takes care of the administrative management of the municipalities property.
The municipality offers two types of social renting: housing for moderated renting and housing for low income.
The regulations regarding attribution of municipal housing (french) determine the procedure, the inscription conditions and the attribution conditions.
Requests have to be made using the form rental/occupation municipal housing. In addition of the form, several documents need to be annexed. The request has to be addressed to the Municipality of Woluwe-St-Pierre, Housing Service, Avenue Charles Thielemans 93, 1150 Woluwe-St-Pierre, by certified letter or disposal at the desk where you’ll get a receipt. (Attention: no requests per email).

Important to know:
- The maintenance of the request has to be confirmed annually between 1st and 31st of January. If not, the request will be radiated from the candidates list.
- Every modification in household composition, address or other important informations need to be communicated immediately to the Housing Service. (max. 1 month). If not, the request can be radiated from the candidates list.
- The amount of housing units is limited. There are many candidate tenants. This is why there is a waiting list. The Housing Service does everything possible to deal as fast as possible with your request.
